Barton's Fine and Performing Arts Dept. has launched the Community Music School program! Children ages 6-18 can enroll in piano lessons taught by Barton students starting at just $15 per 30 minute lesson.

Barton Community College will help area high school seniors plan for their futures at Senior Day, starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 20, with a sign-up deadline of Nov. 4. Those interested can sign up at seniorday.bartonccc.edu.

Barton Community College’s annual literary publication, “Prairie Ink”, has begun accepting entries for its 16th edition.
The drought monitor report as of Tuesday, September 24 shows a slight improvement in drought conditions for the state.
Barton Community College will host a blood drive from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Oct. 3 in the Kirkman Practice Gym. Donors will receive a $10 Amazon gift card from the American Red Cross and be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of three $5,000 gift cards.
The University of Kansas Health System Great Bend Campus joined Meals On Wheels of Barton County in a collaborative effort to continue delivering nutritious meals to the area's homebound seniors.
